Eclipse was exciting, educational for Imagine Nation students

Families lined up to see the solar eclipse at Imagine Nation, A Museum Early Learning Center.

BRISTOL — Imagine Nation, A Museum Early Learning Center, had a sold-out solar eclipse viewing program Monday.

Stephanie Freedman-Edson, community program coordinator at the museum at 1 Pleasant St., said 28 families signed up for the event. Children and parents were given safety glasses to safely view the solar eclipse, which happened around 3:15 p.m., from the playground near the parking lot.
