BRISTOL — A Bristol man was arrested following a hit and run on Pine Street that left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries Thursday night, police said.
According to the state police, the offending driver was city resident Andres Soto Cruz, 21, of 54 Bartholomew St. He was charged with traveling unreasonably fast, evading responsibility/property damage, illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, failure to drive in proper lane, operating a motor vehicle without a license, negligent pedestrian on a highway and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, police said.
