David M. Neumann

David M. Neumann, 66, of Bristol, passed away on Monday (December 27, 2021) at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. He was born in Bristol on July 17, 1955 to the late Otto Neumann and Mildred (Santone) Neumann.

David proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was stationed on the USS Noxubee. He loved motorcycles, enjoyed spending time on his computer, and fishing.

David is survived by his brother Robert Neumann and his wife Shirley; his brother-in-law Ronald Strid, all of Plymouth; his nieces Janell Neumann, and Emma Luizza and her husband Joshua; his nephew Robert Neumann and his significant other Jess Giesen; his great-nephew Ryan Neumann; and his great-niece Zooey Neumann. In addition to his parents, David is predeceased by his sister, Barbara J. Strid, whom he was very close with.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at Funk Funeral Home 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Wednesday (January 5, 2022) between 9 and 11 AM. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
