Emil Freimuth, 88, of Bristol, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024.
Emil is predeceased by his loving wife Celestina (Rossi) and daughter Judy (Holliday).
He was a dedicated member of the Bristol Fish and Game Club and an avid Red Sox, UCONN, NASCAR and Stock Car Fan.
Emil is survived by his sons Charles (Sharen) and Butch of Bristol and James Freimuth of FL; daughters Luann Chase (George) of Bristol and Clara Riley (Joseph) of Moodus; grandchildren John Freimuth (Kaitlin), Katie Tanguay (Michael), Michael (Sarah) and Gregory (Katie) Chase, Brittany and Taylor Freimuth of FL, Daniel and Sally Riley of Moodus; great-grandchildren Ethan, Oliver, Teagan and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 4PM until 7PM at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave. Bristol. A service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 directly at St. Anthony Church, 111 School Street, Bristol for a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
