Holly (Vail) LeBlanc, 73, of Cromwell, formerly of Bristol, widow of Valmond J. “Val” LeBlanc, died on Saturday (February 17, 2024) at John Dempsey Hospital, Farmington.
Holly was born on February 27, 1950 in New Britain and was a daughter of the late Warren V. Vail, Jr. and M. Gertrude (Gillis) Vail.
A lifelong Bristol resident, she graduated from Bristol Eastern High School. She worked for Barnes Group over 20 years and retired from Stanley/Black & Decker.
She enjoyed reading, needlepoint, and watercolor painting.
Holly is survived by two children, Jason LeBlanc and wife, Ling of Cromwell, and Karen Yamalis and husband, Harry of East Berlin;
four grandchildren: Leila and April LeBlanc, Phineas and Ella Yamalis;
sisters: Marsha Parker and husband, Terry of Southington, Laurie Thayer, and Terri Mulcunry of Bristol; brother-in-law: Gene LeBlanc and wife, Laurie of Terryville; sisters-in-law: Colombe Lagace of New Hampshire, Michelle Noble and husband, Richard of Limerick, ME, Suzanne LeBlanc of Torrington, and Annette LeBlanc of Vernon; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother: Warren “Bud” Vail III and brother-in-law: Jack Mulcunry.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (February 23, 2024) at 12 Noon at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home on Friday between 10 AM and 12 PM.
