De-Stress at the Library with a Mindful Art Project

6:00- 7:30 PM

How do you get rid of stress? Come to this Be Well With Books program, led by a Manross staff member who will present several new book recommendations offering ideas on reducing stress. Additionally, we will complete a simple, stress-reducing art project. What problem in your life is causing you stress or anxiety? This will be the focus of your drawing. Clearly defined steps contribute to stress-free learning and an enjoyable and satisfying drawing process. No art experience needed! This program is presented in person at the library. Free. Manross Memorial Library, 260 Central St., Forestville.

The Royal Rules with Kim Larkin

2:00- 3:00 PM

This program will be based on Kim Larkin's new book about self-worth and self-love: It’s Easy Being Queen (When you know your worth). In this uplifting workshop, the 15 Royal Rules of Self-Empowerment will be highlighted. Attendees will partake in a short journaling and meditative exercise. There will be fun poetry and a trivia quiz too! Each person will receive a rose quartz stone, the stone of self-love, to take home. Kim Larkin has presented educational, creative programming that stimulates the mind and spirit for twenty years. Kim proudly brings her passion for education and sharing to this interactive presentation.
