In the spirit of Saint Patrick's Day, we welcome Molly McLaughlin and Derek Monahan, who will perform folk music from Ireland, Spain, and North America for flute and guitar. Molly is a singer and widely diversified flutist drawing on experience in contemporary classical, improvisation, and Irish traditional music. Derek is a versatile guitarist, banjoist and singer working across New England. He has built a career performing numerous styles of music including classical, disco, Irish, and rock. Derek and Molly honor the musical traditions they draw upon through research and education while contributing their unique sound. . . . Space is limited and advance registration is required.
